I am a visual artist and my creative journey has been enriched by relocating to Shanghai a few years ago with an exploration of Chinese culture, it's architecture and the urban landscape. The large, visually textured variances and rapid historical and social changes here have me considering how people navigate life in such a state of flux.

My portfolio encompasses a diverse range of mediums, including painting, drawing and printmaking and my works have found places in public art collections, including the Tacoma Art Museum, the New York Public Library, and The China National Academy of Fine Arts in Hangzhou, China. My pieces have been featured in exhibitions across the US, including at the International Print Center New York, the Print Center, Philadelphia, SAM Gallery at Seattle Art Museum, the Austin Museum of Art and the Maryhill Museum of Art.

My abstract linear paintings are inspired by the vibrant and dynamic chaos of the city. A multitude of monochromatic, free flowing gestural lines, each crossing the picture plane, form the foundation of an organic algorithm that these pieces are built on.
